Suspect charged and arrested after shooting a 10-year-old and his father during a road rage incident

Tyric Davis (23), has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon during a road rage incident that happened back in 2021. Tyric Davis Booking Photo (Houston Police Department) The incident, took place on February 10, 2021, at 300 North Loop when the father attempted to pass Davis' vehicle. Davis then pulled in front of the father's car and slammed on the brakes before pulling a gun out and shooting at the father's vehicle, striking both the driver and his 10-year-old son, which led to a crash. The father was able to drive to an urgent care center as Davis continued to drive until his car stopped working after the accident, just a few blocks from the collision. On June 15, 2022, at about 9:50 p.m., police with the Houston Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of a shopping center located at 12931 Nyack Drive. They found two victims, Jorge Jaimes and Julian Becerra, both 18 years old who had sustained gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported Jaimes to HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland where he later died. Holman Hernandez, a 50-year-old man, how now been arrested and charged with the kidnapping of a 3-year-old over the weekend. The 3-year-old was found in a motel with Hernandez after an intruder kidnapped her from her family's apartment early sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday night and Sunday at 5:30 a.m. when the family discovered their apartment door was open and the girl was missing. The family called the police and police searched the area. One of the residents of the apartment complex told officers that they saw the girl with a man and gave a description that led police to believe it was Holman Hernandez. Two suspects detained after tire blows out during chase in northeast Houston

Two suspects were detained after they led police on a chase through north Houston shortly before midnight on August 19, 2022. The chase came to an end on N. Wayside near Corpus Christi St after a tire blew out. The driver, a male suspect took off running, while a second suspect, a woman remained in the vehicle. It is unknown at this time why the driver fled, but according to initial reports, he allegedly hit an officer's vehicle at one point. We will update this page as we learn more information.

Two men were shot when a vehicle drove by a house and fired multiple rounds into a northeast Houston home in the Denver Harbor neighborhood of Houston. The shooting occurred just before 12:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Hoffman Street near Lyons Ave on August 21, 2022. Officers with the Houston Police Department responded along with the Houston Fire Department. According to police, there was a female and a baby inside the home at the time but they were not harmed during the shooting. One of the men was shot in the arm. Another was shot in the arm and a leg. A man is fighting for his life after he was shot multiple times in front of his wife. The couple had just come back home from a bar in southeast Houston, according to Houston Police. Heavy police presence at Ingram Park Mall is not an Active Shooter Event

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has reported that a suspect involved in a vehicle chase ran into Ingram Park Mall after bailing out of the vehicle. https://twitter.com/BexarCoSheriff/status/1560756230494232582 Police have shut the down mall as they look for the suspect who is described as a Hispanic male, medium build and somewhere between 5'7 and 5'9 in height, with black/blue shoes. Police request that the public stays away from the area as they search for the suspect. It is currently not known if the suspect is armed or not, but police are trying to make it clear that this is not an active shooter situation at this time. If you are inside the mall, you are asked to shelter in place while police search for the suspect.
