According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez: Two officers who work for the New Caney Independent School District were working an extra-job at the ShowBiz Cinemas in the Fall Creek area of Humble, TX (4811 Canyon Trace Dr) and were shot at by potential catalytic converter theft suspects who then attempted to run them over. One officer was injured in his leg and was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury. Harris County Sheriff’s Office is Investigating. This video is managed by Newsflare. This is footage of a secondary crime scene at a Circle K gas station (2697 FM 1960, Houston, TX 77073) to where Deputy Darren Almendarez was shot and killed. Police have not elaborated on this scene. A silver Ford Edge was on a tow truck with a "Police Lives Matter" sticker on the back windshield while police investigated.

Police apprehended 2 suspects after they led them on a high speed chase in a black Mercedes that started around I-45 and Edgebrook around 10:30 pm on March 29, 2022 when police attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The chase ended in the 5100 block of S. Braeswood near S. Rice, when the suspects decided to bail and make a run for it. Along the way, police say the suspects threw narcotics out the window, and a firearm was found inside the vehicle. Police arrested both with the help of a K-9 unit. The driver, who tried to run (despite a broken leg from a recent motorcycle accident) was taken by ambulance to Ben Taub. This video is managed by Newsflare. Police responded to call shortly after 8pm on March 28, 2022 to a person shot in the chest at the Fuel Depot located at 9525 W Montgomery Rd. Houston, TX 77088. Houston Police are investigating.

A driver was arrested in Downtown Houston after he fell asleep while waiting for the traffic light to turn green. After paramedics checked him out, Houston Police placed handcuffs on him and put him in the back of a police cruiser. During a media briefing, Cmdr. Becker with the Houston Police Department stated at approximately 1:30 a.m., on March 20, 2022, Westside Division Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to a call of a shooting in the 2700 block of Elmside. Officers found one male with a gunshot wound. Preliminary investigation indicated that the male was a suspect in the burglary of a motor vehicle. A confrontation ensued and and the person who did the shooting is said to be cooperating with police. The suspects wounds are non life threatening. The matter will be referred to the Harris County District Attorney to consider charges.
