Silver Alert Issued for Missing 59-Year-Old Man in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – The Texas Center for the Missing has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Houston Police Department for 59-year-old Kelvin Butler. Butler was last seen on September 18, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in the 9900 block of Sharpcrest. He was wearing a brown T-shirt with black print (Reebok), black and white joggers, and black tennis shoes. Butler has been diagnosed with dementia and is non-verbal. Authorities urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Houston Police Department immediately.

Human Remains Found Inside Car in Deer Park Pipeline Fire Incident

DEER PARK, TX - September 19, 2024 - Human remains were found inside a vehicle involved in the pipeline fire incident in Deer Park. According to the Deer Park Police Department, the vehicle was removed from the scene at 7 a.m. on September 19. https://youtu.be/CbeokDzvXlk The Harris County Medical Examiners processed the vehicle and recovered the remains. An identification process is now underway, which officials say will take some time. Cyclist fatally struck by Nissan SUV in Kingwood

HOUSTON, TX – A fatal accident involving a cyclist and a motor vehicle, a Nissan occurred on the Eastex Freeway service road. The fatal crash occurred in the 23100 block of Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59) service road around 1:05 p.m. near Kingwood Dr. https://youtu.be/k6Sb51Zbo6k According to police, a bicyclist was traveling southbound on the service road near the above address when, as he changed lanes, he was struck from behind by a red Nissan Rogue. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the bicyclist deceased. The driver of the Nissan, a 74-year-old female, remained at the scene. Police determined she was not impaired, and after being questioned, she was released. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.

Pedestrian fatally struck by two vehicles on Bissonnet

According to Houston police, the individual was first hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. The Houston Fire Department transported the pedestrian to a hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased. HOUSTON, TX - A homeowner was rushed during a home invasion by two young men in the 7100 block of Alderney.
