HARRIS COUNTY, TX – An adult female suspect was taken into custody in front of Memorial Hermann Hospital following a brief pursuit by Harris County constable deputies. The incident, originating from a traffic stop in the 14200 block of East Sam Houston Parkway North, led to a chase after the driver refused to stop. One dead after vehicle rolled off connector ramp and caught on fire

HOUSTON, TEXAS – Houston police have confirmed a fatal incident where a pickup truck veered off a connector ramp, resulting in a fire on the Eastex Freeway. The accident occurred just before 3 a.m. at the junction of Highway 59 and Interstate 610. The driver of a Dodge Ram, while traveling west on Interstate 610, attempted to take the exit ramp to Highway 59 north. During this maneuver, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The pickup truck subsequently overturned, falling off the ramp and landing on the street below. This impact sparked a fire. Upon their arrival, emergency responders found the driver's body at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released as of now. Authorities have indicated that the crash appeared to involve only this single vehicle.

The vehicle was trapped with water still covering the road at the time of the incident.
