Video: Attempted robbery leads to man, and suspect being shot in north Houston
HOUSTON, TEXAS – At approximately 1:55 a.m., North Belt Patrol officers responded to a shooting on the 1050 block of West Rankin Road. Upon arrival, they found a black male with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Additionally, a Hispanic male, transported by a private vehicle to the same hospital, was found to have been shot multiple times and is currently in critical condition.
Initial reports indicate that the incident started when the black male, along with other males, attempted to enter a club but were denied entry. As they were returning to their truck, the black male approached the Hispanic males, allegedly attempting to rob them.
