Officers with the Houston Police Department’s North Patrol Division responded to the call and learned the victim had arranged to meet with friends and acquaintances in the parking lot. At some point, an argument broke out and the victim attempted to walk away before being shot by one of the acquaintances. He was struck in the leg and transported to the hospital by the Houston Fire Department. He is reported to be in stable condition. HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot just before midnight while walking back from a convenience store to an apartment complex in the 9700 block of Mesa Drive. https://youtu.be/KnhVLPZTsVk According to the Houston Police Department, the victim, believed to be about 20 years old, was on foot when someone, possibly in a black Tahoe, opened fire. He was struck in the buttocks and taken to the hospital, where he is expected to recover. The investigation is ongoing.
