Cross is described as a Black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes and bald. He was last seen wearing a navy blue and yellow striped shirt, blue jeans, and tan slippers. He may be driving a blue 2020 Ford Explorer with Texas license plate TTD3101. Convicted felon arrested after fleeing crash on Jones Road

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to Constable Mark Herman, deputies responded to a vehicle crash in the 12200 block of Jones Road at approximately 5:14 p.m. on September 6, 2025. Investigators determined the at-fault driver fled the scene without providing any information. Deputies located the suspect nearby and identified him as Joseph Howard, a convicted felon. Howard was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of failure to stop and give information. His bond was set at $5,000 by County Court 7.

Deputies were investigating a crash in the 21700 block of Cypresswood Drive when a vehicle disregarded emergency equipment and drove directly through the scene. Constable deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused, leading to a brief pursuit. The vehicle was eventually stopped safely, and the driver, identified as Trevarius Julian, was taken into custody. He was booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of fleeing police. Julian’s bond was set at $100 by County Court 4.

SPLENDORA, TX – According to the Splendora Police Department, a fatal auto-pedestrian crash occurred at the intersection of FM 2090 and Lakewood at approximately 9:01 p.m. on September 6, 2025. Officers arrived to find a female lying unresponsive in the roadway. Life-saving measures were initiated by officers and continued by Montgomery County Hospital District personnel, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. A preliminary investigation determined the young driver did not see the victim due to her dark clothing and poor street lighting. Police said no charges are expected to be filed at this time. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification. The case remains under active investigation.

Spike strips were deployed near FM 2978, and the vehicle came to a stop at Tamina. The male driver was taken into custody without incident. Police said he was arrested on an active warrant for family violence and faces a new charge of evading in a motor vehicle. Magnolia police noted assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
