Motorcyclist shoots man in neck who was walking down the street

HOUSTON, TX - A man is recovering after he was shot in the neck by a motorcyclist in west Houston. According to the Houston Police Department, the man was walking in the 1300 block of Witte Rd. when a motorcyclist approached him and opened fire. The man was transported to the hospital and was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect. The suspect was then located by HPD and taken into custody via traffic stop. The man is expected to survive.

Man stabbed after argument in Midtown

HOUSTON, TX - A man was stabbed after an argument broke out early Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m. According to police, the man was in an altercation after leaving a nightclub in the 3000 block of Main Street. At one point during the altercation, he was stabbed one time in the chest. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Man found dead in storage shed in Midtown

HOUSTON, TX - A man was found dead in a storage shed Saturday night in the 2200 block of Milam in Midtown. According to the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division, two citizens were waiting for a bus when they were flagged down three other citizen's who stated there was a dead person in the shed. An adult male was found inside the shed and it is believed he may have died from blunt force trauma.

Man killed after argument over parking space leads to shooting

HOUSTON, TX - A man was killed last night after an argument over a parking space turned deadly. The shooting happened at the Ltd. by Greystar apartment complex located at 12806 Buffalo Speedway around 6:45 p.m. Saturday evening. According to Acting Chief Satterwhite of the Houston Police Department, a fight broke out between two groups of males and females over a parking space. The man pulled out a firearm and shot one fired into the air. Other males pulled out handguns as well and fired at him. At one point a possible family member of the man drove over him while trying to flee the scene. The man was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Man shot and killed during an argument with roommate during Hurricane Beryl power outage

HARRIS COUNTY, TX - A man was shot by his roommate after an argument. https://youtu.be/5--TwBmpQ0E?si=cmvaPVZjABpbizx3 This happened in the 9200 block of Tracelawn around 9 p.m. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, three adults were residing at a residence in a neighborhood that currently does not have power. They were drinking outside when an argument occurred between the two men. One of the males, the homeowner grabbed a pistol and shot the roommate, a white male who is 58 years old. The shooter is currently detained and is said to be cooperating with the investigation. Charges maybe referred to a grand jury.

HCSO SWAT Called for Barricaded Suspect Who Held Woman Hostage After Shooting at Deputies

HARRIS COUNTY, TX - The Harris County Sheriff's Office SWAT team was called after Sheriff Deputies were shot at by a suspect from an apartment. https://youtu.be/grut1YGegiE?si=Wh7_afvYM_aNVb_T This unfolded in the 500 block of Normandy around 7:30 p.m. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the deputies did not return fire and were able to find cover. The male then retreated back inside the apartment and barricaded himself inside along with an adult female hostage. SWAT was called out to the scene while HCSO negotiators and other teammates communicated with the suspect according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The suspect eventually surrendered peacefully and the woman was able to exit the apartment safely.
