HOUSTON (June 7, 2024) - At approximately 10:40 p.m., a 16-year-old female pedestrian was struck by an oncoming vehicle in the 8400 block of Bellaire Boulevard. https://youtu.be/wDZv3CK4mC8 The victim was walking southbound across Bellaire Boulevard when she was hit after crossing the center median. Police say she did not use a crosswalk and the driver remained on scene.

HOUSTON, TX (June 7, 2024) - A teen is dead after a drug deal turned violent. https://youtu.be/ehN_ZxPEuTU The shooting occurred just after 8 p.m. at the Abbey at Briar Forest Apartment Complex located at 11655 Briar Forest in west Houston. According to police, the 17 year old who was living with his 21 year old girlfriend was at home when two other men in their 20's showed up to do a drug transaction. The girlfriend and the victim were in the bathroom trying to get some money together and when they exited police say the suspects made it clear that they did not want the teen there and one of the suspects shot him in the arm. HOUSTON, TX (June 6, 2024) - A 5-year-old girl died after drowning at an apartment complex in southwest Houston Saturday evening. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the drowning call at the Walden of Westchase Apartments and found her unresponsive in the pool. This happened around 8:10 p.m. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department then transported her to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Her identity has not been released. If you have any information about the drowning, you are urged to contact the HPD's Homicide Division.

The arrest stems from an incident on May 3, 2024, where Flowers is accused of intentionally causing the death of Megan Rouse by shooting her with a firearm. Flowers was apprehended on May 31, 2024. According to court documents, on May 3, 2024, at approximately 10:49 PM, HPD officers responded to a shooting in the 13700 block of Anagnost Road. The victim, later identified as Megan Rouse, was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds and severe blunt force trauma. ATASCOCITA, TX (June 2, 2024) - A man is dead following an argument at The Pointe at West Lake Apartments that took place earlier this morning. https://youtu.be/Ar_uc-bTRn8 Details are limited at this time but according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the passenger was arguing with the driver before getting out of the vehicle. HOUSTON, TX (June 1, 2024) - A five-year-old girl who was taken to a local hospital after drowning has died. HPD Units responded to the Walden of Westchase Apartment Complex located at 2828 Rogerdale Road early Saturday night after the family reportedly lost track of the five-year-old and found her in a pool and pulled her out. Update: This story has been updated after it was learned that the 5-year-old girl was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
