Idaho Army National Guard hoists injured man to safety in remote Yellow Pine rescue
YELLOW PINE, ID — An Idaho Army National Guard HH-60 Black Hawk crew airlifted an injured man from rugged terrain near Yellow Pine after he suffered a broken leg and was unable to walk or ride out, according to the Idaho National Guard.

The rescue took place late Tuesday night after the Valley County Sheriff's Office requested assistance. Life Flight crews were unable to land due to the heavily wooded terrain.
