HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of Ariel "AJ" Ayala on Monday, September 9. The accident occurred around 5:35 p.m. in the 14100 block of Almeda Road. https://youtu.be/33Opi8mT4bY According to the Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division, witnesses stated that AJ was riding his black Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Almeda Road when he struck the back of a trailer being towed by a gray Ford F-250 pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was attempting to make a left turn from Almeda Road onto Foxshire Lane when the collision occurred. Paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced AJ deceased. HOUSTON, TX - A suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a woman and a juvenile early Saturday morning at 5401 Rampart Street. https://youtu.be/lou2P5yHQ78 Eduardo Gomez, 42, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault of a family member in the 228th State District Court. The victims, a 38-year-old female and a 3-year-old boy, were both transported to area hospitals and are reported to be in stable condition. According to a press release, Houston police responded to the shooting around 3 a.m., where they found both victims with gunshot wounds. HOUSTON, TX – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a park in southeast Houston. The trucks exchanged gunfire before leaving the scene. Two innocent bystanders were struck during the crossfire—one was hit in the leg, and the other was shot in the torso. A woman was critically injured, and a child suffered minor injuries following a shooting during a family disturbance earlier this morning.
