NEW ORLEANS, LA – New Orleans Police are investigating a homicide after a teenage male was found shot to death in Algiers on October 6, 2025. According to investigators, officers responded to the 3700 block of Texas Drive shortly after 8 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Fourth District officers found the victim on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. New Orleans EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
