Preliminary information indicates that the victim, who was a friend of the homeowner but did not reside at the location, was involved in an altercation at the front gate with a man described as the homeowner's estranged boyfriend. LA PORTE, TX – Police are investigating an incident at the Brookglen Community Center parking lot where residents believe a teenager was shot. The landing occurred on Somerton Drive in the Brookglen neighborhood, prompting road closures and increased emergency activity. Police remain at the scene as the investigation continues.
