According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the man parked his vehicle on the overpass before jumping onto the main lanes of 290, where he was struck by at least one vehicle. The driver of the vehicle that hit the man did not remain at the scene, and police say they are looking for that driver. HARRIS COUNTY, TX - A suspect was fatally shot following an attempted robbery in the parking lot of an apartment complex in northwest Harris County. The incident occurred in the 6700 block of F.M. 1960. at the Standard of Champions Apartments. https://youtu.be/Id3qPpwL8Es According to police, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to multiple calls about the shooting. Upon arrival, they spoke with a tenant who reported that he was accosted by two armed men in the parking lot. During a struggle, the tenant gained control of one of the suspect's pistols and shot the armed suspect, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Atascocita, TX - Neighbors are wondering what happened after a shooting triggered a large police presence in the Atascocita Meadows subdivision. The shooting occurred in the 4900 block of Winding View and Atascocita Meadows around 7:20 p.m. https://youtu.be/2kiYPwnfjOc?si=x0zM5hByfmIuMQdS According to Constable Mark Herman, one man was shot and transported to a local hospital. His condition and what led up to the shooting remain unknown at this time. There were at least twenty evidence cards on the ground.
