One killed, another critically injured in shooting near McGowen train platform

HOUSTON, TX – A shooting in Midtown Houston left one man dead and another critically injured near the McGowen train platform. https://youtu.be/g80o0Ememj4 Officers with the South Patrol Division responded around 9:10 p.m. to the 2400 block of Main Street for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found Houston Fire Department crews already on scene. One adult male victim was located on the sidewalk north of McGowen near the Bremond sign and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second adult male victim was found on the train platform south of McGowen with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
