According to the statement, at approximately 3 a.m., an investor for Greenwood Lounge was stopped by law enforcement while en route to the establishment, removed from his vehicle, detained, and transported to the front entrance of the lounge. The investor was then escorted inside by multiple officers and questioned regarding an allegation that alcohol had been sold to an undercover officer. Greenwood Lounge stated it operates as a BYOB venue and that any alcohol stored on site was secured in locked cabinets for future, scheduled day-party events.
