HOUSTON, TX - One person was killed and three others were hospitalized following a four-vehicle crash around 6:07 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the East Freeway near Freeport Street. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash involving a Honda sedan, Hyundai sedan, BMW SUV and a heavy hauler parked for road construction. The passenger vehicles came into contact before leaving the main lanes and entering the service road. It is not exactly clear what happened or what caused the crash at this time. HOUSTON - A driver was killed after a vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, rolled over and caught fire early Wednesday morning in the Copperfield Place area of northwest Houston.
