HOUSTON, TX - Joseph Rodolfo Rodriguez is now charged with murder following a double shooting that happened at a YouTube Influencer party at a warehouse just north of Downtown Houston. The shooting left one man injured and another dead. The shooting happened on October 14, 2023, in the 1100 block of Providence Street, just north of Downtown Houston around 1:40 a.m. When officers arrived, they learned that a man was arguing with others about a backpack that was allegedly stolen from him before he was shot. That man was identified as 20-year-old Zayden Kimple. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Kimple, but he was later pronounced deceased at Ben Taub Hospital in the medical center. HOUSTON, TX - Ricardo Domingo Reyna has turned himself in to police after he allegedly shot Jaime Torres-DeLeon, at a party last Friday while under the influence of Xanax and alcohol. According to police, he was asked to leave the party after becoming belligerent. While he was waiting outside for his ride, Reyna got into a verbal altercation with DeLeon and at one point pulled out a handgun and fired multiple rounds, striking DeLeon several times in the 800 block of Catherwood Place Lane in the Cloverleaf area of Houston. DeLeon was then transported to a local hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics where he was pronounced deceased. DeLeon was just 34 years old. HOUSTON - A fatal car accident that claimed the life of 17-year-old Marissa Romain occurred around 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, on Dixie Farm Road. According to police, Marissa Romain was driving a 2009 black Mitsubishi Galant eastbound near the 1800 block of Dixie Farm Road when her vehicle struck a curb and she lost control. The car then veered to the right, hitting a concrete ditch and a tree. The impact caused Marissa to be partially ejected from the vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Marissa deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

HARRIS COUNTY - Sheriff Ed Gonzalez of the Harris County Sheriff's Office provided an update about a officer-involved shooting that took place at 9150 State Highway 6 North, near 290. The incident occurred after deputies were dispatched following at least two calls about suspicious individuals possibly breaking into cars at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, a deputy identified a male matching the reported description near a vehicle, along with a bag on top of the vehicle.
