DALLAS, TX – The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in a homicide investigation that occurred in the 330 block of E. Ledbetter Drive and have released a picture of two individuals they believe are connected to the case. At approximately 8:45 p.m. on July 24, 2024, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 330 block of E. Ledbetter Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men had been shot inside the location. Estevan Narvaez Jr., 40, was pronounced dead at the scene. LEAGUE CITY, TX - League City Police Department Detective O’Neal is seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects involved in the theft of over $900 worth of cigarettes from Super Brownies at 102 W FM 646 on June 21, 2024. Charges have been filed against Juan J. Mares-Chaves, 57, in the fatal shooting of his wife at 8830 Ledge Street around 4:45 p.m. on July 24. Mares-Chaves is charged with murder in the 177th State District Court. According to the Houston Police Department, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the residence and found an unresponsive woman with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the driveway. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene. Mares-Chaves remained at the scene and informed officers that he shot his wife following an argument. HOUSTON, TX - Houston police are seeking the public’s help in locating two persons of interest in connection with a fatal shooting at 4760 Sherwood Lane on June 25 at 9:45 p.m. The victim, identified as Derrick Dewayne Smith, 31, was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle at the motel. The persons of interest, identified as Terryl Shawn Richard, 29, and Trishia Perrault, 26, are sought for questioning as they may have information regarding the incident.
