The shooting occurred around 10:50 p.m. at the Ashford Stancliff Park Apartments, located at 10350 Lands End Drive on January 27, 2026. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call at the location and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. Witnesses told police a red Cadillac CTS was traveling at a very high rate of speed when it went underneath one of the 18-wheelers as they were exiting a private drive. One of the 18-wheelers passed through the vehicle, causing significant damage. The Cadillac then struck a second 18-wheeler before coming to a stop.
