Police respond to shooting in Houston’s Chinatown area
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department responded to a shooting just before 9 p.m. in the 9600 block of Clarewood Drive, in Houston’s Chinatown area.

According to HPD, a man was robbed in the 6300 block Westline (near Clarewood) when a gray car with two Hispanic males in their 20s pulled up. One of the suspects fired a shot into the air, and when the victim tried to get away, he was shot once and robbed.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by Houston Fire Department crews and is in stable condition at this time.
Police did find at least one shell casing at the scene.
