HOUSTON, TX - A driver was ejected during a crash along the South Loop East and later died from his injuries. https://youtu.be/jIYgQw0UMbA The crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. in the 4700 block of the South Loop East in Houston. A single vehicle traveling outbound on the 610 Freeway lost control for an unknown reason, struck the center concrete wall, left the freeway, and then struck a tree. The vehicle was wrapped around the tree and the driver was ejected during the crash. The driver, believed to be in his late 30s, was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Only one vehicle and one occupant were involved in the crash. It is unknown if the driver was impaired at the time of the crash.

HOUSTON, TX – An adult male and an adult female were injured in a shooting during a domestic disturbance at a residence in Houston. https://youtu.be/snq5ibDDDi4 Officers responded to the shooting around 11:25 p.m. in the 5100 block of Danfield Drive. Police said the two individuals, identified as a husband and wife, were engaged in a physical altercation inside the residence when a firearm was used. Both individuals shot each other with the same firearm. Officers rendered aid at the scene. Houston Fire Department crews arrived shortly after and transported both victims to a local hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition. The shooting occurred inside the residence.

Officers responded to a shooting call and found an adult female lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid at the scene before the female was transported to a local hospital. The female was pronounced deceased at the hospital. According to police, the victim had parked her vehicle and was walking to a friend’s residence prior to the shooting. HOUSTON, TX - A man was shot in the leg just before 4 a.m. in the 100 block of Goldenrod. https://youtu.be/aOYdN9HLCIU According to the Houston Police Department, officers found a male with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said the suspect was driving around and has not been located. Shell casings were located in front of a house in the area. The reason for the shooting is unknown at this time.

According to the Houston Police Department, a male who appeared to be in his mid-30s was standing in the middle of the street beside his bicycle and had a backpack and other items with him when he was struck by a vehicle. Witnesses stated the male was standing in the roadway next to the bicycle when he was hit. The male’s identity is unknown at this time. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to the Houston Police Department, the Houston Fire Department responded to a report of a person down after a passing driver reported seeing an individual lying in the road. When crews arrived, they located a male believed to be in his mid-50s suffering from trauma believed to be a gunshot wound. The male was found lying in the middle of the roadway. His truck was located in a nearby parking lot. Individuals in the area stated the man often came to the parking lot to visit with people and drink.
