Officers responded to the shooting around 2 a.m. and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital. According to police, the victim said he was working in the garage shed when he heard a loud bang and felt pain in his jaw or neck. He told officers that when he turned around, he saw his son standing over him with a gun. The suspect initially fled the scene, prompting officers to establish a perimeter and search the area.
