Due to the size of the structure, a second alarm was requested to bring in additional personnel and equipment. Between 50 and 65 firefighters worked to bring the fire under control. Ten apartment units were affected. No injuries or fatalities have been reported. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist residents who were displaced. HOUSTON, TX – A Houston Fire Department ambulance was recovered early this morning in southeast Houston after it was reported stolen from a local hospital.
