HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was pronounced deceased after a two-vehicle failure to stop and render aid crash on State Highway 249 near the Greens Road entry ramp. https://youtu.be/39IneiitTk8 Around 1:15 a.m., a motorcycle traveling along the southbound lanes struck the rear of a backhoe excavator. The backhoe is suspected to have been stolen or lifted from a nearby construction site. After the collision, the backhoe continued into a grassy area where it was abandoned. The suspect operating the backhoe fled the scene and remains at large. Investigators said the motorcycle driver died at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed. HOUSTON, TX – Firefighters responded to a blaze at the Happy Home Apartments on Club Creek around 1:02 a.m. https://youtu.be/v9FD4617hx0 Crews arrived to find a two-story apartment building with heavy fire on both the first and second floors. Firefighters quickly determined the structure had previously burned and was vacant. Handlines were deployed for an initial offensive attack before crews transitioned to defensive operations. The fire was successfully contained and prevented from spreading to nearby buildings. No occupants were affected. A minor water supply issue occurred due to a dead plug, but a working plug across the street was located without any meaningful delays. No firefighter injuries were reported.

HOUSTON, TX – Officers responded to a crash involving an HPD patrol vehicle and a civilian vehicle in the 10100 block of South Gessner late last night. https://youtu.be/1ZsBKh8uoTM Preliminary information indicates the civilian vehicle was traveling south on Gessner and attempted to turn left into an apartment complex when it collided with the northbound patrol unit. After the impact, the patrol vehicle went through the apartment gate and struck an apartment building. The driver and passenger of the patrol unit were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the civilian vehicle was also transported with minor injuries. He was in stable condition and transported to a hospital. Police said the teen was shot at an unknown location by an unknown suspect and then walked back to the complex, where he was found by his friend. HOUSTON, TX – Two people were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries after a car crashed into a building in northeast Houston Thursday afternoon. https://youtu.be/8S1z5ybw8UQ The incident occurred at the intersection of Lanewood and Tidwell, where two vehicles collided, causing one to strike the front of Lalla's African Hair Braiding, a salon located at 6502 Tidwell Road, after hitting a blue car. Both individuals suffered only minor injuries, according to an HPD sergeant at the scene.

HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that left two men dead in the 6300 block of Windswept Lane around 7:35 p.m. on November 7, 2025. According to the Houston Police Department Homicide Division, officers responded to an assault call near the address and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. While at the scene, officers discovered a second man lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the location. HOUSTON, TX – A woman has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in southeast Houston Monday night. https://youtu.be/hCOC-x63SEk According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting occurred around 9:25 p.m. on November 10 in the 4600 block of Sunflower Street. Officers arrived to find 34-year-old Brenton Griffin suffering from a gunshot wound. The Houston Fire Department transported him to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced him deceased. Court documents show that Roxanne Elaine Albert, 60, has been charged with murder in the 182nd Criminal District Court. Records also indicate Albert has two prior felony convictions, one for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in 1988 and another for evading arrest with a motor vehicle in 2007. ...
