Three men injured in drive-by shooting outside Friendly Store in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Three men were injured in a drive-by shooting outside the Friendly Store in the 800 block of West Little York in north Houston around 11:40 p.m. According to the Houston Police Department, officers assigned to the North Shepherd Patrol Division responded to a shooting call and found that three victims had been struck by gunfire. Two of the victims were shot in the leg and transported to a local hospital. A third victim was grazed by a bullet, treated at the scene, and released. Police said all three victims were adult males between the ages of 18 and 20. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A 16-year-old was Life Flighted to the Texas Medical Center after a shooting at a home in the Humble area. Deputies responded around 1:20 a.m. to an in-progress call at a residence in the 10700 block of Spring Brook Pass. When deputies arrived, two teenage girls were waiting in the driveway and told them their 16-year-old brother had been accidentally shot by one of their friends. HOUSTON, TX – A wanted suspect was found dead after barricading himself inside an apartment in southeast Houston while members of a U.S. Marshals task force attempted to serve a warrant. The incident started around 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Redford. Members of the Gulf Coast Task Force, which is part of the U.S. Marshals Service, were serving a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The warrant is believed to have originated from the Friendswood Police Department, and Harris County Precinct 2 constables were assisting. Officers with the Houston Police Department South Central Division responded around 11 p.m. to the intersection of Chartres Street and Congress Street regarding a male who was unresponsive and not breathing.
