HOUSTON, TX – A police pursuit believed to have started in West University ended in a crash in southeast Houston involving multiple vehicles and damage to a utility pole. https://youtu.be/kK0vXWZHVOw The crash occurred at the 6500 block of Del Rio near Old Spanish Trail. At the scene, a Houston Police Department patrol vehicle and a Bellaire Police Department unit both appeared to have sustained damage during the incident. HOUSTON, TX – A suspect was shot during a home invasion after crashing a vehicle and breaking into a residence. https://youtu.be/OJ9A14m0dEM The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the 300 block of Truman earlier this morning. According to police, officers responded to a shooting call and learned a suspect had broken into a home while the homeowner was awake and inside. The homeowner then produced a firearm and struck the suspect one time. The suspect was transported by the Houston Fire Department to a hospital and is in stable condition. The homeowner was not injured. Police said the suspect and homeowner are not believed to know each other. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A woman was pronounced deceased after a gun discharged inside a home in east Harris County Thursday evening. https://youtu.be/DZc3hNAr4vY The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. at a residence in the 600 block of Harding Street. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an in-progress call and found two gunshot victims, a 25-year-old male and his 24-year-old wife. The male sustained a gunshot wound to the hand, and the female sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Both were transported to a hospital, where the female was pronounced deceased upon arrival. According to the Houston Police Department, patrol officers responded to an auto-pedestrian crash involving one vehicle and one pedestrian. The driver, described as a Black male in his mid-30s, remained at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication. The victim, described as a white male in his mid-30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
