Teen dies, second teen critically injured in shooting at north Harris County residence

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Two teen males were injured following a shooting at a residence in north Harris County. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for service regarding a shooting at a residence located in the 400 block of Remington Ridge. Upon arrival, units found two teen males with gunshot wounds. One teen is possibly 15 years old and the other is possibly 18 years old. Both were transported to hospitals. Sheriff Gonzalez later said one of the teens, believed to be 15 years old, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The condition of the second teen has not been updated.
