At the follow up, several inspectors from the City of Houston, including public works and the health department, came out to the complex. Carl Wilson with Eureka Holdings, the company associated with La Casita, was also present, along with Councilman Willie Davis. HOUSTON, TX – A man in his 20s was pronounced deceased after a shooting at a nearby apartment complex in southeast Houston Thursday evening. https://youtu.be/GKdcNXpVh1Q The shooting occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Van Fleet, where the man was found deceased. According to the Houston Police Department, the man had some kind of interaction at the apartment complex near MLK and Van Fleet with two other men, during which shots were fired, before driving to the intersection where he was pronounced deceased. HOUSTON, TX - A viewer sent in a video of a shooting scene along the Gulf Freeway feeder in southeast Houston. https://youtu.be/KkoQ7-E2_Ic The shooting occurred around 11 a.m. at the intersection of the Gulf Freeway feeder and Telephone Road. According to the Houston Police Department, the incident began as an argument before the male was shot. What that argument was about is unknown at this time. He was transported to a local hospital, and his condition is not known at this time. A woman has been detained in connection with the shooting. HOUSTON, TX – A motorcycle pursuit that began in the Bellaire area ended in southeast Houston at a parking lot takeover. https://youtu.be/XcbsPaYXyyE The chase came to an end at the corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Bellfort as the motorcycle rider, with police units trailing behind, entered a parking lot where a takeover was already underway.
