HOUSTON - A Harris County Justice Court has ruled in favor of Tanigo Walker following a judge trial in a lawsuit filed by Verna Caddie stemming from a dispute over a planned Miami honorary graduation ceremony. According to the court's judgment, the case was tried on April 7, 2026, in Harris County Justice Court, Precinct 4, Place 2. After hearing the evidence and arguments presented by both parties, the court ordered that Caddie recover nothing from Walker, discharged Walker from the claims, and assessed court costs against Caddie.
